SOGGY DOG RECORDING STUDIO
Soggy Dog Recording is one of Melbourne's leading music production studios for singers, songwriters, and bands.
Are you an emerging or established singer, songwriter, band, or music artist who needs a professional audio recording to get your music ready to compete with songs on
Spotify, YouTube and iTunes?
Why it's worth the drive.
It's not just about the gear, but the experience and skill of the producer/engineer (and the gear). Don't do it on your own. Creating and producing music is always a collaborative process for famous music artists. We will simplify the process, from pre-production, arrangement, recording, editing, mixing and mastering.
We aim to make a recording that's ready to compete against your most formidable rivals.
You're welcome to read our entire website, but you don't have to.

Steve Vertigan has spent more than 35 years on both sides of the glass. He was a full-time musician in classical and contemporary genres, and has performed with international artists live, in the studio and on television. He has a detailed broad-ranging knowledge of many musical styles. Steve holds current Police and Working with Children Checks.
We are inclusive, welcoming artists of diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Creativity transcends boundaries.
We have many top-shelf musicians available and can provide music industry advice and pre-production. Whether you're making a demo, EP, or album release, we assume you demand the best quality and always treat your recording project that way.
"I was so happy to return to Soggy Dog Recording Studio recently and work with Steve. I have worked with Steve on a few different projects over the years and trust him beyond his work as an engineer. As he is an experienced musician himself I am always excited to see how he collaborates towards each song. Being very resourceful with his network of artists and his extensive experience over the years, I not only enjoy recording with Steve but love to sit and watch, learning from his craft. I highly recommend working with Steve at Soggy Dog Recording Studio for whatever genre or stage you might be in your career."
